Jack L. Hoaglin, 80, of Hillsboro, Ohio, died Monday, November 18, 2013 at his home.
He was born August 1, 1933 in Lima, OH .
Jack was a member of the Highland Lodge # 38 F&AM, Hillsboro Order of Eastern Star # 58, the Hillsboro Church of Christ and was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn J. Hoaglin, whom he married March 13, 1954, one daughter, Pamela Sue (Rick) Jones of Peebles, two sons, John Michael Hoaglin of Lynchburg, and Richard Dean Hoaglin of Hillsboro. Also surviving are two brothers, Paul Clayton of Detroit, MI, and James Tomlin of Cold Springs, AR, a cousin, Jennie Clemens of North Lewisburg, OH, 5 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Jack was preceded in death by his birth parents, Marvin and Ann Sybert Tomlin, his adoptive parents, Nelson and Roberta Hoaglin, and a brother, Don Hoaglin.
Services will be held at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Friday, November 22, 2013 at 1:00 pm with Pastor John Porter officiating. Interment will follow in the New Market Baptist Cemetery where the Highland County Honor Guard will conduct full military honors. Following the services at the cemetery family and friends are invited to the Hillsboro Church of Christ for food and fellowship.
Friends will be received at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home on Thursday, 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.
