J. Warren Shutts, age 90, of Clarksville, Ohio, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2024 at his residence.
He was born and raised in Waynesville.
Warren was a life-long contractor and had built 13 homes throughout his career. As a general contractor he worked for Ashland Petroleum and built many gas stations in the region and then later converted them to Speedways. He also was employed by Otterbein Homes and built and ran the lumberyard in Blanchester. Warren worked several different jobs related to construction including builder, heavy equipment operator, truck driving and maintenance, but what he was most proud of was his family and his work.
Surviving are son, Ronnie Shutts of Morrow, daughter, Rinda Shutts of Morrow, daughter, Robie Schumacher of New Vienna, brother, Vernon (Ruth) Shutts of Lake Placid, FL, several nieces & nephews.
Per his request, no services will be held at this time and a Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family. The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, is serving the family.
