Helen Richardson,
Age 89, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away Wednesday afternoon, January 4, 2012 at the Wilmington Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wilmington, Ohio.
She was born November 16, 1922 in Washington Courthouse, Ohio, daughter of the late Waldo & Bernice (Walker) Howard. On December 6, 1941, she married Charles Ray Richardson, who passed away December 31, 2002.
Helen worked for over 20 years at the Clinton County Auditors Office, having last served as the deputy auditor.
She was a member of Villars Chapel UMC and at one time was a member of the Eastern Star of Clarksville.
Surviving are her son, Charles Allen Richardson of Wilmington, OH; 4 grandchildren- C. David Richardson of Wilmington, OH, Dean A Richardson of Wilmington, OH, Joey Richardson of Xenia, OH, and Janelle (Allen)Fisher of New Vienna, OH; 4 great-grandchildren- Aubrey, Alyssa, & Jalen Richardson and Mason Fisher; brother- Denver (Sammie) Howard, Columbus; sister- Evelyn Sidders, Spring City, TN; 6 nieces and 2 nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Helen was preceded in death by her son- Ronald Lee Richardson, grandson- Marc Andrew Richardson and a sister- Janet Fisher.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, January 9, 2012 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington, with officiating. Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington, Ohio.
Friends will be received from 2 - 4 PM Sunday, Jan. 8 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, OH .
