Helen Huber

Helen June Huber,
Age 92, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away Thursday afternoon, March 26, 2015 at the Cape May Retirement Community.

She was born June 15, 1922 in Ava, IL, daughter of the late Asa Julius & Clara Anna (Griffin) Williams. In November of 1948 in East St. Louis, IL, she married Howard William Huber, who preceded her in death on April 20, 1979.

She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Wilmington, Ohio,  where she was active with WELCA and the tag sale.  She had worked for 15 years in the 1940-50's with the Alton & Southern Railroad as a secretary..

Surviving are her daughter- Lynn Ann (David) Ackerman of New Vienna, OH; & a granddaughter- Beth Ackerman of Wilmington, OH.

In addition to her parents and husband,  Helen was preceded in death by her 2 brothers-Harold "Curly" Vernon Williams, & Norman Carl Williams; and a sister- Irma Lorraine Hubert.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM, Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Faith Lutheran Church,  421 East Vine Street, Wilmington  with Rev. June Fryman officiating.  Interment will be in the Harvel Cemetery, Harvel,IL.

Friends will be received from 12Noon until the time of services at the Faith Lutheran Church.  The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington has been entrusted with the arrangements.
