Helen R. Farkas, age 83, of Wilmington, OH, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2012 at the Laurels of Hillsboro in Hillsboro, OH.
She was born March 8, 1929 in Cynthiana, KY, daughter of the late Robert Taylor Roberts and Sudie Fookes Roberts.
She was a member of the First Christian Church-Disciples of Christ, Wilmington and was a longtime employee of National Bank & Trust in Wilmington.
Surviving are daughter, Julie (Doug) Henry of Hillsboro, OH, son, Scott (Cathy) Farkas, of Wilmington, five grandchildren, Amy Farkas, Jason Farkas, AbbyFarkas, Eric Henry & Jill Henry, two step-grandchildren, Bryan Allen & Michele Allen, two step-great-grandchildren, Bradley Allen and Wyatt Allen.
In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph John Farkas, who died April 30, 2005.
Graveside Services will be held at the convenience of the family on Friday, July 6, 2012 at Clinton County Memory Gardens, with Rev. Dr. Tom Stephenson officiating.
