H. Denver Howard

H. Denver Howard, age 92, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away Thursday, September 9, 2021 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.

He was born August 11, 1929 in Wilmington, OH, son of the late Bernice Wilson.

He was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan and golfer and most importantly loved his family.

Surviving are son, Steve (Cathy) Howard of Dayton, OH, daughter, Debbie (Dave) Macy of Reno, NV, son, Timothy Jay Howard of Columbus, OH, step-son, Bruce (Melissa) Doolin of Columbus, OH, and step-son, Danny Doolin of Delaware, OH. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, Alicia, Eric, Jessica, Kristen, Randi, Taylor, Kayla & Desi, eleven great-grandchildren, two great great-grandchildren,  sister-in-law, Judy Merritt, former daughters-in-law, Rebecca Howard and Shari Fox.

Denver was preceded in death by his wife, Sammie P. Howard.

Services will be held at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 11:30 am with Pastor Nancy McCormick officiating.  Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington, Ohio.

Friends will be received at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, Ohio Thursday, September 16, 2021, 10:30 am - 11:30 am.
