Harvey Grove,
Age 53, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away Saturday evening, August 13, 2011 at Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
He was born October 21, 1957 in Wilmington, son of the late Robert & Alberta (Reed) Grove. On July 17, 2004, he married Peggy S. Derby Damron, who survives. They were high school sweethearts, re-united in 1998 after 24 years.
Harvey worked as a machine operator for Ahresty Corp. and had formerly worked at American Tool.
In addition to his wife, other surviving family members are his son- Corey Grove, Springfield; daughter- Tiffany Grove, Springfield; 3 step-daughters- Sarah (Josh Coleman) Damron, New Vienna, Amber (Dwayne) Boysel, Sabina, & Ashley Hensley, Wilmington; a granddaughter- Annabella Jean; 3 brothers- Marty Grove, Springfield, Gary Grisham, Piqua, & Sam (Anita) Grisham, Sardinia; sister-Roxanne (Gary) Gower, Sabina; mother-in-law- Laura Sexton, Wilmington; brother-in-law- Ed Sexton, of Florida; and sister-in-law- Treasa Earhart, Wilmington.
In addition to his parents, Harvey was preceded in death by his infant brother.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington with Rev. William J. Crowe officiating. Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington.
