Gwendolyn A. McCormick,
Age 83, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away uexpectedly as the result of a car accident, Thursday evening, May 15, 2014 at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.
She was born February 8, 1931 in Indianapolis, Indiana, daughter of the lateC. Russell & Hattie Pearl (Ash) Terry.
Gwendolyn was a lover of animals, gardening, nature, and anything outdoors.
Surviving are her daughter- Wendy Jenigen, Wilmington; granddaughter- Kelly Lynn McCormick; great-grandson- Tyler McCormick; sister- Danna (Dave) Butcher, Indianapolis; 2 nephews- Kent (Celeste) & Paul (Emily) Butcher, & a great-nehpew Theodore David Butcher.
In addition to her parents, Gwendolyn was preceded in death by her husband- Jack McCormick; son- James McCormick; daughter-Terry Lea McCormick; and friend- Joseph Spinelli..
A time of gathering honoring Mrs. McCormick will be held at a later date.
The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington is serving the family.
