Gregory Harris

Gregory Michael Harris was born on January 25, 1050 to the union of the late Grover Sr. and Bernice Harris. Michael was affectionately known by his family and friends as Kojack. He grew up on Quinn Road in Clinton Township sharing his childhood amongst extended family that included aunts, uncles, and cousins. He graduated from Clintondale Community Schools and earned his associate degree from Macomb Community College. He enlisted into the United States Army, a Vietnam veteran. He worked several jobs throughout his life time and was loved by many.

On Monday, March 26, 2018 at his home with living family members at his bedside, the doors of heaven opened to receive our beloved brother, father, uncle, and friend. He leaves to cherish his memories his children: Miguel, Ricardo, and Star Harris, Rona Harris, Gregory Harris, Gynah Rouse, and April Mills; his ten siblings, Ruby Jean O’Donkor, Constance (Robert) Coleman, Dennis (Mary) Harris, Vernic Terry, Carolyn Mial, William (Nancy) Harris, Deborah (Donald) Overton, Alec (Lyn) Harris, Rhoda (Dr. Ricardo) Barlett and Rodney Mark (Karen) Harris; grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Grove Sr. and Bernice Harris, his siblings Grover Jr., Wesley, Nancy Jean, and Larry.

Services were held in Michigan with the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, being entrusted with arrangements locally.
