Goldie Lea Cornetet, age 92, of the Buford Community, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at the Brown County General Hospital in Georgetown, OH.
She was born April 27, 1919 in Taylorsville, OH, daughter of the late Warner David Fender and Lou Emma Morris Fender .
She was a member of Buford Church of Christ.
Surviving are 3 daughters, Frieda (Don) Wardlow of Mt. Vernon, OH, Gail (Lowell) Graves, of Sardinia, and Christy (Russ) Burton of Wilmington, OH, 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren .
In addition to her parents, Goldie was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert "Shorty" Cornetet, Brother, David Fender, and 3 sisters, Edna Bloom, Velma Guthrie, Grace Delana Fender.
Services will be held at Edgington Funeral Home, Mowrystown, Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 1:00 pm with Andrew Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Buford Cemetery, Buford, Ohio.
Friends will be received Friday, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Edgington Funeral Home, Mowrystown, Ohio .
