Gloria Jean Champion, age 68, of Wilmington, OH, passed away Wednesday,  August 12, 2015 surrounded by her family.

She was born November 9, 1946 in Wilmington, OH, daughter of the late Maxwell Bobbitt and Glana Irene Ulrey Bobbitt.

Gloria worked as a receptionist at Ferno for many years until her retirement in 1997.

She was an active member of the Wilmington American Legion Post #49 Ladies Auxillary, the Wilmington Eagles Auxillary and theWilmington VFW Auxillary.

Surviving are daughter & son-in-law, Kelly and Jeff Gambill of Clarksville, OH, her grandson, Jenner Gambill, whom she adored, brother, Ron (Carol) Bobbitt of NC, sister-in-law, Gladys Bobbitt of Wilmington and many special nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Champion, and a brother, Max Edward Bobbitt.

Services will be held at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 2:00 pm. with Rev. Elizabeth J. Looney officiating. Interment will follow in the Martinsville I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Martinsville, Ohio.

Friends will be received at the funeral home Saturday, 12:00 am - 2:00 pm with American Legion Auxillary services held just before the start of services at 2:00 pm.
