Glenna Jacox

JACOX, Glenna Marie (Ward) age 84, of Beavercreek, Ohio passed away on October 10th, 2013.  Glenna, born in Dayton, Ohio, was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She enjoyed crossword puzzles, bingo, baseball, and always rooted for Ohio State.  Glenna fulfilled a childhood dream when she became a Registered Nurse and worked in hospitals and other medical facilities for over 25 years.  She will be remembered for her sense of humor, positive attitude, and kindness.  Glenna is preceded in death by her parents Ennis and Cora (Ward) Greene, foster parents Ernest and Myra Bray, sisters Elva, Beatrice, Ruby, and her brothers Harvey, Omar, Esper, Virgil, Carroll, Eber, Irvin, and Earl.  She is survived by her loving husband Edward "E.T." Jacox, sister Daisy (Bailey), her loving children Teresa Peyton, Carolyn (Bruce) Hobson, and Ward (Raquel) Jacox; as well as 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren, and extended family and friends.  The family extends a heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Friends Care Center and at the Indu & Roy Soin Medical Center.  In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be sent to the Alzheimer Association. Services will be held 2PM Friday, October 18, 2013 at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home in Wilmington, Ohio.  Friends and family may call 1PM until 2PM.
