Gladys Doyle, age 89, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Ohio Living Cape May in Wilmington, OH.

She was born August 14, 1931 in Sligo, OH, daughter of the late Harvey E. Florea Sr. and Opal Croy Florea.

Gladys was a member of the First Christian Church - Disciples of Christ and was a long time employee at Sabin Wholesale Distributors in Wilmington.

Survivors include her sister Ruth (Kenneth) Hill of Wilmington, two daughters Connie Doyle of Wilmington and Karen (Gordon) Shields of Lewis Center, one son Mike (Rita) Doyle of Beavercreek, and three grandchildren Amanda (Chad) Knox, Katy (Justin Jaskiewicz) Doyle, and Michael (Andrea) Shields. Also surviving are two brothers-in-law Paul Doyle and Don Wiget, four sisters-in-law Doris Florea, Nancy Burton, Joan Monroe, and Opal Wilcomb, and a slew of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Doyle, who passed away in 2000,  sister, Hazel Sabin, five brothers, Joe Florea, Edison Florea, Floyd Florea, Rolland Florea and Harvey E. Florea Jr.

Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family in Springfield Friends Cemetery with Pastor Tom Stephenson officiating.

The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington is serving the family.
