Gertrude Eldridge, age 81, of Hillsboro, Ohio, passed away Friday, March 28, 2014 at Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro, OH.
She was born March 13, 1933 in Harlan County, KY, daughter of the late Chris Teague and Ellen Goforth Teague .
She was a member of Christian Assembly Church.
Surviving are grandchildren, Olivia, William, Nikki, and Misty, eight great-grandchildren, three sisters, Evelyn Houston, Shirley Walker, and Eulene Quickel, four brothers, Willard, Bob, James David, and Donald Ray Teague, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents Gertrude was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Eldridge, three sons, J.R, Michael, and Wayne Eldridge, and a brother, Charles Teague.
Services will be held at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, March 31, 2014 at 6:00 PM with Pastor Randle Goble officiating. Interment will follow on Tuesday in the Evarts Memorial Garden, Evarts, Kentucky.
Friends will be received at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro, Ohio Monday, March 31, 2014 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
