Georgia E. Henry, age 82, of Wilmington, OH, passed away unexpectedly Friday, June 20, 2014 at her residence.
She was born March 14, 1932 in Brown County, OH, daughter of the late Sylvanis Norton Burnett and Margaret Pauline McCord Burnett.
Georgia had attended St. Columbkille Catholic Church and had worked at the Wilmington College Bookstore for 30 years. She also had worked several years at Miller's Market and was an avid bowler and had enjoyed traveling extensively with her friend Bill.
Surviving are 3 sons, Doug (Julie) Henry of Hillsboro, Denis J. Henry of Wilmington, and Dana N. (Jessie) Henry of Wilmington. Also surviving are 3 sisters, Betty Burnett, Hester Jarvis, and Virginia Cook, her special friend, Bill Catauro, 7 Grandchildren, and several Great Grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Georgia was preceded in death by her husband, Roy David Henry Jr who died in 1994, and a sister, Wilma Kinney.
Graveside Services will be held at Sugar Grove Cemetery, Monday, June 30, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Michael Holloran officiating.
The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington is serving the family.
