Geneva G Wagner

 Geneva Gertrude Wagner, 

age 102, of Hillsboro, Ohio, passed away, Monday evening, October 28, 2024 at the Laurels of Hillsboro in Hillsboro, Ohio. 

She was born September 24, 1922 in Highland County, OH, daughter of the late Harry Irvin & Jeannie Delora (Godman) Bloom.  Geneva had been a business owner in Hillsboro and was a member of Hillsboro Church of Christ and the Alzheimer's Support Group.

 Surviving are her daughters- Judy Gove, Grants Pass, OR; Jeanette Washburn of Hillsboro, & Jan (Carl Lee) Barney, Batavia, OH; son- Richard Washburn, Cheyenne, WY; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandsons; many step-children, step-grandchildren, & step-great-grandchildren, special extended family members- Kay & Miles; and several nieces & nephews.

In addition to her parents, Geneva was preceded in death by her husbands- Paul Richard Washburn, Tom Carpenter, & Richard Wagner; brother- Wendall Bloom; sister- Velma Walker Behm, grandson- Kevin Barney. 

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, November 1, 2024, at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, 138 East Main Street, Hillsboro. Interment will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery, Hillsboro, Ohio.  Friends will be received from 10:30 until the time of services at the funeral home on Friday, November 1.   Contributions in Geneva memory may be made to the St. Jude's Hospital.
