Gene Beucler

Gene Edward Beucler, age 87, of Sardinia, Ohio, died Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Clermont Mercy Hospital in Batavia, OH.

He was born June 30, 1928 in Highland County, OH, son of the late Leslie Lee Beucler  and Hazel Martin Beucler.

Gene was a farmer all his life which he loved. He also enjoyed working in his shop and spending time in the woods.

He graduated from Whiteoak High School in 1946 and was a member of the Mowrystown Presbyterian Church.

Surviving is his devoted wife, Esther L. Beucler, whom he married August 27, 1955, his son, who cared for him,  Keith Beucler of Sardinia, two sisters, Joanne (Jack) Roberts of Hillsboro,  Karol (Sherm) Wallen of Georgetown, KY, and many neices, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family at Edgington Funeral Home, Mowrystown, Thursday, January 14, 2016 with Rev. Mark Mong officiating.  Interment will follow in the Buford Cemetery.

There will be no public visitation.
