Gayle Bowman, age 96, of Wilmington, OH, died December 11, 2011.
She was born August 23, 1915 in Butler County, OH, daughter of the late Marshall Walther and Ivah Winans Walther.
She was a member of the Shandon Congregational Church and had attended the Wilmington United Methodist Church; and was a former member of the Wilmington Homemakers Club. She enjoyed the outdoors, the wildlife, feeding the birds and the changing of the seasons.
Surviving are son, David (Judy) Bowman of Wilmington, OH, daughter, Judy (Donald) Pratt of Dayton, OH, three grandchildren, Lori Neu, David C. (Carla) Bowman, and John M. (Brenda) Bowman. Also surviving are eight great-grandchildren, Kyra, Kole, & Kade Neu, Lexie, Ty, Gracie, Talon, and Quentin Bowman.
In addition to her parents, Emily was preceded in death by her husband, David E. Bowman, and a sister, Evelyn Leibrock.
Graveside Services will be held at Venice Cemetery, Butler County, Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 11:00 am with Rev. Dean Feldmeyer officiating.
