Gale L. Hayslip, age 74, of Wilmington, passed away Monday, January 17, 2022 at Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery, Ohio.
He was born November 10, 1947 in Clarksville, Ohio, son of the late Clarence R. and Lucy McGeorge Hayslip.
Gale was an avid outdoorsman who loved his family, especially his grandchildren who were the apple of his eye. He was a hard worker and had mastered many skills over the years. He retired from Wisco Products after 40 years of service as a welder.
Surviving is his wife of 54 years, Linda Hayslip of Wilmington, two daughters, Angela (Steve) Roberts and Cindy (Bruce) Duff. Also surviving are grandchildren, Ashley (Zachary Greene) Hieatt, Monica (Joseph) Ward, Brittany Vanhoosier and Hannah Roberts, great-grandchildren, Trenton, Dalton, Lillian, Parker, Layla, Nathan, Adrian, Rowan, Collin, Raiden, & Abigale. Other family members left to mourn his passing are his siblings, Ruby (Ron) Pfeiffer, June (Ed) Davis, May (J.C.) Holman, Goldie (Tom) Lawson, Linda (Paul) Schneider, Roger Hayslip, Rocky Hayslip, Randy Hayslip, Pam (Danny) Warfield, Darrel Hayslip, Carol Kirby, and many nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents, Gale was preceded in death by two brothers & sisters-in-law, Russel (Joan) Hayslip and Ray (Joyce) Hayslip.
Graveside Services will be held at Clarksville Cemetery, January 25, 2022 at 2:00 pm with Terry Rose Jr. officiating. The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, is serving the family.
Contributions in Gale's memory may be made to the American Kidney Fund, the American Diabetes Association or plant a tree in Gale's memory.
