Freddie Hoskins

Freddie Hoskins, age 78, of Sardinia, Ohio, passed away early Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Anderson Mercy Hospital.
He was born August 10, 1942 in Hazard, Kentucky, son of the late James Corbett Hoskins and Cara Woods Hoskins. He joined the U.S. Army Reserves in the early 70’s.
He was a member of Sardinia Church of Christ for many years while his health permitted. He was a truck driver for 40 plus years. His greatest joys in life were his wife, being with family and the Kentucky Wildcats (GO BIG BLUE).
Surviving is his wife, Kathy Hoskins whom he married December 26, 1991. A brother, James “Sonny” (Janice) Hoskins, sister-n-law, Carolyn Hoskins. A son, Gabriel (Bobbi) Hoskins and a daughter Stephanie (Shawn) Jones. 3 step-children, Danny Roberts, Kim Roberts and Missy (Chad) Cordrey. Also left to morn his passing are grandchildren, Krissia (Bill) Ennis, Nick Hoskins, Braydon Hoskins, Jade Jones, Alec Smith, Addy, Lexi, Logan Cordrey; Great Grandchildren, Karsen, Jordan Ennis, Joshua, Elleana Hoskins and many nieces & nephews
In addition to his parents, Freddie was preceded in death by his sister Velma Kay Cunningham, his brother Jerry Von Hoskins.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 27, 2021 at the Sardinia Church of Christ with Pastor Kevin Hamilton officiating followed by burial in the Buford Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. at the church.
