Frank Anthony Russell

 Frank Anthony "Tony" Russell,  age 77, of Blanchester, Ohio, passed away Monday morning, November 4, 2024 at home after a long illness.

 He was born September 6, 1947 in Cincinnati, Ohio son of Avah Katherine (nee-Hunley) Russell and James Claude Russell. Frank retired from R&L Carriers. During his career, he was a mechanic and millwright for Newport Steel, Consolidated Ceramics and Celotex. A proud US Army Veteran (Vietnam), he was a member of the VFW Post 9630 in Batavia, Ohio.

 Surviving are his children- Michelle (Keith) Sanfrey, Bryan (Diane Uhl) Carson, Scott Russell, Jennifer Russell, & Natalie (Tim) Lotspeich; his grandchildren-Matthew (Jessica) Sanfrey, Katie (Donovan) Reedy, Chelsi (Kyle) Snyder, Felisha (Mike) Younkin, Raychel (David) DePonte, Karen (Jamie) Millard, Rebekah (Joey) Garcos, Dylan (Eva) Lotspeich, Adam Lotspeich, & Cheyanne Russell; great-grandchildren; Zachary Sanfrey, Jaxon, Maverick, Jupiter, & Dutch Snyder, Ella, Finn, Grant, Hudson, Isaiah, Julia, Eli, Jessi, Inez, Meredith, Elena, Shandy, & Delilah;

Sisters- Sandy (Tito) Fuentes, Vicki (Terry) Kahrs; brother- Michael (Lorin) Russell; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his loving wife- Donna Fay (Mason) Russell; & brother- Joseph Warren Russell.

Friends will be received from 4-6 PM, Monday, November 11, 2024 at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 10:30 AM, Tuesday, November 12 2024 at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington with Pastor James Rawlins officiating. Interment will follow in the Clarksville Cemetery, Clarksville, Ohio, where the Wilmington American Legion Post #49 Honor Squad will accord full military burial honors.
