Frank W. Dabe, age 87, of Clarksville, OH, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at the Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington, OH.
He was born January 9, 1926 in Clinton County, OH, son of the late James Earl Dabe and Sylvia Mae McNiel Dabe .
He was retired from Randall Textron after 38 years of service and was the President of the Management Club at the time of his retirement, he was also a member of the Clinton County Antique Power Club, was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and was a member of the Wilmington American Legion and the VFW.
Surviving is his wife, Betty Dabe of Clarksville, OH, whom he married June 5, 1957, two daughters, Cheryl (Randy) Utley of Wilmington, daughter, Kimberly Grider of Wilmington, 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, two sisters, Winifred (Elmer) Livingston, of Dayton, and Wyoma (Bill) Staffan, of Lebanon.Also surviving are two sisters-in-law, Betty Dabe of Jamestown, and Bertha M. Dabe of Clarksville and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his son, Frank Dabe Jr. in 1987, five brothers, William Dabe, Wilton Dabe, Wilford Dabe, Willis Dabe, James Dabe, and a sister, Wanda Fox.
Services will be held at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust St. at Mulberry St., Friday, June 21, 2013 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Larry Speelman officiating. Interment will follow in the New Antioch Cemetery, New Antioch, OH where the Wilmington American Legion Memorial Squad will conduct full military honors.
