Ford H. Dunn, 90, of Wilmington, OH, died November 5, 2013 at Autumn Years Care Center in Sabina, OH.

He was born February 20, 1923 in Lee City, KY, son of the late Caleb Benton Dunn  and Eva Mae Cisco Dunn.

Ford was a former member of the Civilian Conservation Corps and was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII. He was a member of Buckeye State Sheriffs Association and had attended church at the Cuba Friends Church and the Beechgrove Freewill Baptist Church.

Surviving is his wife, Sarah Marie Dunn of Wilmington, OH, whom he married January 5, 2007, two daughters, Debra Thompson of Martinsville, and Brenda Lee of GA, one brother, C.B. (Patricia) Dunn, of Jackson, KY, one sister, Maxine (Ray) Dunn Jenkins, of Covington, KY, 7 neices and 5 nephews,  step-son, Johnie Deatherage of Wilmington, and step-son, Howard (Phyllis) Deatherage of Troy. Also surviving is step-son, Roger Adkins of FL, step-son, Bill (Shirley) Adkins of Middletown, step-son, Bobby Adkins of South Lebanon, step-daughter, Helen Mullenix of Wilmington, step-daughter, Wanda (Donald) Holbrook of Winchester, KY, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, and step-great great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Ford was preceded in death by his first wife, Lela Denny Dunn, his second wife, Effie Jean Watson Dunn,  daughter, Joanne Combs, two brothers, Odas Dunn, Haywood Dunn, and a sister, Mae Gilley.

Services will be held at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, OH, Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 12:00 pm with Rev. Dan Mayo officiating.  Interment will follow in the Edwardsville Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sat., 10:00 - 12:00.
