Floyd Griffith

Floyd Eugene Griffith, age 89, of Wilmington, OH, passed away Monday, December 11, 2017 at his home.
He was born January 20, 1928 in Allensburg, OH, son of the late Arnold Griffith and Sara Smith Griffith.
Floyd worked as a self employed general contractor in the Clinton County area for many years.
He was a member of Martinsville I.O.O.F.; Wilmington Senior Citizens, and attended New Vienna Community Church.
Surviving are four children, Sandra J. Fisher, Vickie (Vernon) Gregory, Tom (Wilma) Griffith, and Todd (Amy) Griffith all of Wilmington, 8 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, his sister, Maxine Frost, two brother, Walter Griffith and Doug Griffith and several nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents, Floyd was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years Marjorie Ellen Griffith and a sister, Peggy Quickle.
Services will be held at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 12:00 pm with Rev. Dan Mayo officiating. Interment will follow in the Martinsville I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Friends will be received at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Thursday, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.
