Flora Jane Vaughn,
age 91, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away Tuesday morning, July 26, 2016 at the Laurels of Blanchester.
She was born August 28, 1924 in Ripley, OH, daughter the late of Joseph Lewis & Flora Jane (Allen) Johnson. On November 22, 1940 in Maysville, KY, she married Lester G. Vaughn, who passed away June 14, 2006.
Flora was a member of the Wilmington Church of Christ.
Surviving are 3 sons- Paul (Mary) Vaughn of Wilmington, OH, Randy (Connie) Vaughn of Darien, IL, & Danny (Jill) Vaughn of Wilmington, OH; daughter- Brenda (Rick) Godlove of New Vienna, OH; 14 grandchildren- Robert (Amy) Vaughn, Janet (Jason) VaughnWalt, Barbara (Rob)Vaughn Caldwell, Matthew (Jennifer)Vaughn, Crystal Vaughn, Michael (Lisa) Vaughn, Andy (Renee) Vaughn, Bart (Sandi)Vaughn, Chad (Katie)Vaughn, Ryan (Leah) Godlove, Tiffany Godlove, Erik Sabin, Brandi Slepp, & Brad Griffith; 21 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter & daughter-in-law- Virginia Vaughn of Wilmington.
In addition to her parents and husband, Flora was preceded in death by her son- Dale Vaughn; a grandson- Doug Vaughn; 4 brothers and a sister.
Funeral Services will be held 12 Noon, Friday, July 29, 2016 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington with Mr. Ron Merkle officiating. Interment will follow in the Clinton County Memory Gardens, Wilmington, Ohio.
Friends will be received from 10 AM until the time of services at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington.
