Betty (Elizabeth Louise) Brausch,
Age 73, of Clarksville, OH, passed away quietly Friday evening, December 16, 2016 at the Hospice of Cincinnati- Blue Ash.
She was born July 30, 1943 in Cincinnati, OH, daughter of the late Joseph Ferdinand & Helen Frances (Haussler) Brausch.
Betty was a former employee at the Frischs Restaurant in Wilmington and was a member of St. Columbkille Catholic Church.
Surviving are her 10 siblings, Joseph (Rosie) Brausch, James (Katie) Brausch, Tom (JoAnn) Brausch, John (Beth) Brausch, William (Claudia) Brausch, Mary Moore, Kathy Dunn, Angie (John) Gruenemeier, Peggy Brausch, and Julie (Mike) Dill. Also surviving are 48 nieces & nephews and 120 great nieces and nephews. Though Betty was blind she lived alone with family help for many years in her small home in Clarksville. In her last months of illness she was an amazing example of faith and humility.
Viewing will be Thursday, December 22 from 8:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home with prayers being said at 10:15 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM, at the St. Columbkille Catholic Church, 73 North Mulberry Street, Wilmington with Fr. Michael J. Holloran and Fr. Anthony Brausch (nephew), co-celebrants. A memorial luncheon will be held following the Mass with interment to follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Cincinnati, OH at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations may be directed to the Health Alliance of Clinton County (which provides assistance to patients of the Boyd Cancer Center) or to St. Columbkille Catholic Church.
