Edward Jacox

Edward T. Jacox MS, age 92, of Beavercreek, OH, passed awayTuesday, January 15, 2019 at Hospice of Dayton in Dayton, OH.

He was born May 1, 1926 in Brownsville, TN, son of the late  Ernest Jacox  and Floyd Bond.

Mr. Jacox was a member of Quinn Chapel AME Church in Wilmington, Ohio and was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII.

Survivors include three children, Teresa Peyton of Frankfort, KY, Carolyn (Bruce) Hobson of Dayton, OH, and son, Ward B. (Raquel Gutierrez) Jacox of Tempe, AZ. also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 17 great -great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Jacox was preceded in death by his wife, Glenna Ward Jacox, who passed October 10, 2013.

Services will be held at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 11:00 am with Rev. James Smith and Rev. Phillip Turner officiating.  Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington, OH where the Wilmington American Legion Memorial Squad will conduct full military honors.

Friends will be received at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, OH Saturday, January 26, 2019, 10:00 am - 11:00 am.
