Earl Burns

Earl C. Burns, age 84, of Hillsboro, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday night, February 8, 2022 at Heartland of Hillsboro.

He was born August 8, 1937 in Manchester, Kentucky, son of the late Delbert and Jeanie (Hensley) Burns.

Earl was a member of Fayettville First Baptist Church and a United States Army Veteran, having served in Korea. He was a pastor for many years and was a delivery truck driver for Frisch's for 30 years. Earl was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and his horses.

Surviving are his loving wife of 63 years, Barbara Burns of Hillsboro, four children, Debbie Burns of New Market, Linda (John) Hargett of Linwood, NC, Troy (Sue) Burns of Peebles, and Dan (Julie) Burns of Cincinnati, eleven grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Earl was preceded in death by his son, Greg Burns, and three brothers, Paul, Robert "Bobby", and Larry Burns.

Funeral Services will be held at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, 138 E. Main St. Hillsboro, Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 10:00 am with Pastors Daryl Roundtree and John Wright officiating.  Interment will follow in the Butler County Memorial Park, 4570 Trenton-Oxford Rd. Hamilton, Ohio at 1:00 PM on Tuesday.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday, February 14, 2022 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
