Duane Ray Probus III,
Age 34, of Wilmington, Ohio passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday evening, August 12, 2019.
He was born July 16, 1985 in Langley Air Force Base, Hampton Roads, Virginia son of Duane R. Probus II, of Wilmington and Cynthia (Alexander) Abner, of Monticello, Kentucky.
A 2003 Wilmington High School graduate, Duane was a US Army Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom War Veteran. He was a former member of the American Legion and VFW.
In addition to his parents, other surviving family members are his brothers- Jeremy (Adriana) Nelson, Matthew (Zornitza) Probus, Brandon (Courtney) Probus, Falcon (Eliza) Abner, Bryar Abner, & Logan Abner; step-parents- Diane Probus of Wilmington, Mark Abner of Monticello Kentucky, and Kimberly Probus, of Pine Knot, Kentucky; 2 sisters- Jacqui (Eric) Jensen, & Allyssa Jensen; paternal grandfather- Duane R. Probus I, of Sarasota, FL; and paternal grandmother- Patricia Napier.
Duane was preceded in death by his twin brothers- Cullen & Cowan Abner.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM, Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington with his grandpa Duane Probus I officiating. Interment will be at 1:30 PM, Friday, August 23, 2019 at the Camp Nelson National VA Cemetery, Nicholasville, KY.
The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until the time of the remembrance services on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home.
