Dr. James Ramsey

Dr. James M. Ramsey,
Age 96, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away Tuesday evening, February 23, 2021 at the Cape May Retirement Community in Wilmington.
He was born May 21, 1924 in Wilmington, Ohio, son of the late Gerald Waldo & Adeline C. (Boothby) Ramsey.
A US Navy WWII Veteran, Jim retired as a Professor for the University of Dayton & Wilmington College.  He was a member of the American Legion.

Surviving are his wife- Millie E. Ramsey;  daughter- Rebecca Schweller of Centerville, OH; step-son- Harry R (Judith) Perry III of Loveland, OH;  3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his sons- Eric  & James A. Ramsey; and a brother- William Ramsey.
Mausoleum Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM, Monday, March 1, 2021 at Miami Valley Memory Gardens,  1639 East Lytle 5 Points Road at St Rte 48, Dayton, Ohio 45458 with Pastor Nancy McCormick of the Wilmington College Ministry officiating.  The United States Navy Active Duty Seamen will accord funeral burial honors. The Family will receive friends from 12:30 -1:00 PM at the Cemetery Mausoleum.  Masks are requested due to the Covid.
