Donald E. "Don" Storer,
age 63, of Washington Court House, OH, passed away unexpectedly on Monday morning, August 27, 2012 at the Fayette County Memorial Hospital in Washington Court House, OH.

He was born March 19, 1949 in New Vienna, Ohio, son of the late Homer L. Storer Sr. and Mildred Garringer Storer Cochrane, of Hillsboro.

Don worked at the Chalmer P. Wylie V.A. Clinic in Columbus and was a 25 year Civil Service employee. He was also a U. S. Air Force Reserve Veteran with 20 years of service to his country.

He was a member of the Heritage Memorial Church in Washington Court House where he was a member of the Prison Ministry Team, the Honduras Missionary Team and had previously helped with the A.C.T.S ministry at church.

Surviving is his wife, Carolyn Storer of Washington Court House, OH whom he married March 19, 1999; children- Daniel A. (Carol) Storer, Waynesville, Tracy (Eric) Riffle, Washington Court House; & Ashley C. Storer, of WV; step-children- Lori (David) Anderson, Oregonia & Douglas D. (Angie) Rhonemus, Martinsville; 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers & sisters-in-law, Linda Lunsford, Martinsville, Patricia (Jack) Leiter, of WV, Cathy (Dave) Fife, Wilmington, Ronald Edgington, Greenfield, & Terry Edgington, Washington Court House; niece- Angel E. (Jack) Blevins, Hillsboro;special mother-in-law, Barbara Hodge, Highland; & numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

In addition to his father,  Don was preceded in death by his first wife- Stephanie "Marge" Storer; his step-father- Milton Cochrane; and two brothers, Buddy Storer and Dana Storer.

Services will be held at Heritage Memorial Church, 1867 US Rt. 35 NW in Washington Court House, OH  43160, 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 31, 2012 with Pastor Bruce Morrison officiating.  Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Leesburg where the Highland County Honor Guard will conduct full military honors.

Friends will be received Thursday, August 30, 2012 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Church.

The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, is serving the family.
