Donald Lee Lynch,
age 76, of Wilmington, Ohio, formerly of Port William, passed away Saturday evening, September 20, 2014 at the Wilmington Nursing & Rehab Center.
He was born November 18, 1937 in Waynesville, OH, son of the late Floyd Charles Lynch & Grace Jeannette (Bogan) Lynch, of Waynesville.. He married Alice M. Johnson Lynch, who passed away August 18, 2011.
Donald retired as a Gas Service Tech for Dayton Power & Light after 39 years of service. He was a US Army Korean War Veteran serving from 1950-1957.
Surviving are 2 sons- Randy Allen (Jeannine) Lynch of Wilmington, OH & Rodger (Tammy) Lynch of Wilmington, OH; 4 Grandchildren; 5 Great-Grandchildren; Brother- Charles (Carol) Lynch of Xenia, OH; 2 Sisters- Vikki (Ronald) Lehman of Wilmington, OH, & Darlene Noble of Lebanon, OH.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM, Thursday, September 25 at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington with Pastor Tim Wallace officiating. Interment will follow in the New Maple Grove Cemetery, Port William, Ohio with the Wilmington American Legion Post #49 Memorial Squad according full military honors.
Friends will be received from 12 Noon until the time of services on Thursday at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home.
