Donald Bloom

Donald W. Bloom,
age79, of Winchester, Ohio, passed away, Thursday morning, April 8, 2021 at the Heartland of Hillsboro Nursing Center.
He was born March 31, 1942 in Highland County, Ohio, son of the late William Francis & Mary (Kirk)  Bloom.  On November 10, 1963 in Sardinia, Ohio, he married M. Jane Bloom, who passed on October 14, 2014.

Don retired as the Warehouse Manager for Pepsi Cola Bottling, Hillsboro, after 26 years of service.  He enjoyed Nascar, car shows, mowing and landscaping his yard.
Surviving are his son- Troy (Leslie) Bloom of Winchester, OH; three grandchildren- Melissa Haynes, Brookville, KY, Michelle Spinkles, Hillsboro, & Dawn Sharp, Buford; seven great-grandchildren; and 3 sisters- Mary (Clarence) Birchfield, Sardinia, Margaret Frisholz, Georgetown, & Karen (Louis) Atwell, Sardinia.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM, Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Edgington Funeral Home,  17 East Main Street, Mowrystown  with Don's former neighbor Pastor Chris Gobin officiating.  Interment will follow in the Mowrystown Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 12 Noon until 1:00 PM, Tuesday at Edgington Funeral Home, Mowrystown.
