Dolores A. Wiget,
age 83, of Wilmington, passed away Wednesday evening, December 13, 2017 at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.
She was born November 8, 1934 in Dayton, Ohio daughter of the late Ervin & Edna (Burns) Doyle. On March 3, 1952 in Wilmington, she married Donald E. Wiget, who survives.
A Martinsville High School Graduate, Dolores retired as the Dietician for Clinton Massie Schools after serving for 15 years. She and Don spent the last 31 years wintering in Florida.
In addition to her husband of 66 years, other surviving family members are her son- Donald A. (VoHammie) Wiget, Xenia; daughter- Deborah A. (Richard) Rose, Clarksville; 4 grandchildren- Eric (Miranda) Wiget, Nicholas (Kelsey) Wiget, Jennifer (Tom) Henderson, & Steve Rose; 6 great-grandchildren with one on the way; brother- Paul (Patty) Doyle; sisters- Nancy Burton, Joan Monroe, Opal Wilcomb; and lots of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her Baby Wiget, and 2 brothers- Kenneth & Gene Doyle.
Memorial Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM, Thursday, December 21, 2017 at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington. Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington.
