 Deanna Jean Doak, 

Age 86 Years, of Wilmington, Ohio, went home to be with her Lord and Savior early Sunday Morning, August 4, 2024. She was surrounded by her loved ones at home.

 She was born May 21, 1938 in Harveysburg, Ohio, daughter of the late Earl Evans & Evelyn Jeanette (Barnhart) Campbell. She married her loving husband James (Jim) Doak, who survives, on October 12, 1973 in the Harveysburg Methodist Church. Deanna was a devoted wife for over 50 years.

Deanna had worked for the Town & Country School in Wilmington for many years. She loved working with and teaching the handicapped children who attended. Deanna & Jim were the owner/operators of the Wilmington Long John Silvers Restaurant from 1994 -2002. A few of Deanna's favorite past times were arts & crafts and jigsaw puzzles. She enjoyed the many trips to Pigeon forge with Jim to celebrate anniversaries. Deanna dedicated her life to her 6 children and their families all of whom love and cherish her dearly.

 In addition to her husband, other surviving family members are her sisters- Anita Perdue of Waynesville, OH, & Janice Kinderman of Wilmington; her 6 children- Crystal (Ron) Gilliam of Townsend, TN, Chris (Trula) Perdue, Christina (Larry) Bennett, Chriselda (Michael) Shanks, Darla (Wade) Michael, all of Wilmington & Darwin (Angie) Perdue of Mason, OH; 16 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; many great and great-great-grandchildren; and special friends- Tammy Perdue & Dotson King of North Carolina.

In addition to her parents, Deanna was preceded in death by her grandson- Billy Perdue; great-granddaughters- Whitney Cordell & Gabriella Perdue; and great-great-granddaughter, Normani Perdue.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM, Friday, August 9, 2024 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 W. Locust Street at North Mulberry St, Wilmington, with Minister Larry Bennett officiating. Interment will follow in the Miami -Corwin Cemetery, Waynesville, Ohio.

 Friends will be received from 5-7 PM, Thursday, August 8, 2024 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home.
