David R. Taylor,
Age 86, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away Friday Afternoon, September 23, 2016 at the Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington, Ohio.
He was born March 12, 1930 in Asheville, North Carolina, son of the late James & Daisy Bell (Jenkins) Taylor. On December 6, 1958, he married Eula Lucille (Tutt) Taylor, who passed away December 20, 2011.
David retired after 38 years of service from General Motors. He loved farming and the Biltmore House in Asheville, NC.
Surviving are his daughters- Marie Lyons of Kettering, Patsy (Jim) Huelsman of Dayton, & Lori (Kimber) Boggs of Wilmington; his son- David Michael Taylor of Wilmington; grandchildren- Johnny, Matt, Jennifer, Nick, & Paige; 4 great-grandsons; sisters-Mary Nash & Helen Massey; brother- James Taylor, all of Asheville, NC.
In addition to his parents and wife, David was preceded in death by his brothers- Robert E Taylor & Johnny Taylor and sister- Margaret Stewart.
Graveside Funeral Services were held on Thursday afternoon, September 29, 2016 at the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington with Pastor Elizabeth J. Looney, of the Wilmington Church of God, officiating.
The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, was entrusted with the services.
