David Kent Roades, age 52, of Lynchburg, Ohio, passed away Thursday, August 1, 2013 as the result of an accident in Wilmington, OH.
He was born November 8, 1960 in Wilmington, OH, son of David Eugene Roades and Roberta Breuer Roades.
Kent was a member of Hillsboro Church of Christ, was a graduate of Hillsboro High School Class of 1979, and had been a dedicated caregiver to his father for the last 11 years. He enjoyed working on cars and woodworking.
Surviving is his father, David E. Roades, sister, Cindi (Larry) Krasniewski of Oak Harbor, OH, sister, Candy (Tom) Leininger of Lynchburg, sister, Nancy (Ken) Apgar of Hillsboro, 9 nieces & nephews, 11 great nieces & nephews, 1 great great niece, special friends, John & Helen Griffith, and Johnny Griffith.
David was preceded in death by his mother, Roberta Breuer Roades, his maternal grandparents, Robert & Louise Breuer and his paternal grandparents, Gilbert & Hattie Roades.
Graveside Services will be held at Hamer Township Cemetery, Sunday, August 4, 2013 at 2:00 pm with James Bush officiating. No visitation is scheduled.
The Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro is in charge of arrangements.
