David Hurley,
age 71, of Wilmington, passed away at home on Thursday night, October 23, 2014.
He was born June 29, 1943 in Wilmington, son of the late Jesse Defoe & Audra Mae (Willis) Hurley. On May 27, 1988 in Wilmington, he married Peggy A. Bissinger Hurley, who survives.
He was a 1961 Kingman High School Graduate, had been a farmer in the Sabina Area in his younger days, and most importantly, a dedicated employee of the Clinton Memorial Hospital after 31.5 years of service in the Maintenance Department.
In addition to his wife, other surviving family members are his 2 sons- Jon (Angie) Hurley of New Vienna, OH, & Doug (Brenda) Hurley of Colorado Springs, CO; daughter- Megan (Denny) Carlier of Hillsboro, OH; 2 grandsons- Cody & Cory Hurley; & brother- Dale Hurley.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, October 27 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington, with Chaplain William Sangrey officiating. Interment will follow in the New Burlington Cemetery, New Burlington, Ohio.
Friends will be received from 2-4 PM , Sunday at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home.
