David Roades

David Eugene Roades,
Age 80, of Hillsboro, Ohio, passed away surrounded by his family Wednesday evening, December 17, 2014 at the Crestwood Nursing Center in Hillsboro.

He was born April 22, 1934 in Pricetown, Ohio, son of the late Gilbert Vincent & Hattie Juanita (Taylor) Roades.  On November 15, 1955, he married Roberta Breuer, who preceded him in death on August 19, 2002.

David was a member of Hillsboro Church of Christ and had worked for many years at Kaufman's & then Haines Clothing Store in downtown Hillsboro.

Surviving are his 3 daughters- Cindi (Larry) Krasniewski of Oak Harbor, OH, Candy (Tom) Leininger of Lynchburg, OH, & Nancy  (Ken) Apgar of Hillsboro, OH; Nine grandchildren; Eleven great-grandchildren; & 2 great-great-granddaughters.

In addition to his parents and wife, David was preceded in death by his son- David Kent Roades.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 20 at the Hamer Township Cemetery, with Pastor Jim Bush officiating.

The Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro is serving the family.
