David G. Booth, age 82, of Hillsboro, formerly of Mowrystown, Ohio, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2016 at Bethesda North Hospital.
He was born October 25, 1934 in Paris, KY, son of the late Roy M. Booth Sr. and Eleanor W. (Bowman) Booth.
David was a member of the Sardinia Masonic Lodge.
Surviving is his brother, Roy Booth Jr., of Mowrystown, 3 neices, Tammy (Ron) Gleadle of Hillsboro, Teresa (Bill) Regan of Wilmington, Phyllis (Jeff) Crone of Lynchburg, 2 step-nieces, Cheryle (Wes) Hart of Hillsboro, Amy (Wade) Wilson of Lynchburg, step-nephew, Tim (Sonia) Truman of Hillsboro, and several great and great great neices & nephews.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by a sister Norita Hughes, an infant brother, and a step-sister, Evelyn (Dave) Truman.
Services will be held at Edgington Funeral Home, 17 E. Main St. Mowrystown, Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 12:00 pm with Pastor Chris Gobin officiating. Interment will follow in the Sugartree Ridge Cemetery.
Friends will be received at Edgington Funeral Home, Thursday, December 29, 2016, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm with Masonic Services at 12:00.
