Darrel Gerondale

Darrel J. Gerondale, age 85, of Loveland, OH, died Monday, November 9, 2015 at his home.

He was born April 14, 1930 in Door County, WI, son of the late Frank Gerondale  and Libbie Tebon Gerondale.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.

Surviving are wife, Della Mae Gerondale of Loveland, whom he married May 23, 1964, daughter, Edith (Don) Lester, daughter, Della (Marshall) Siever, daughter, Donna (James) Niemiller, daughter, Libbie (David) Boettcher, son, Darrel (Nikki) Gerondale, Jr., son, Jay Thomas, son, David Brown-Gerondale, daughter, Lynda Vanden Bougart, daughter-in-law, Barb Gerondale, 16 Grandchildren, and 24 Great Grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Darrel was preceded in death by a son, Rick Gerondale, granddaughter, Cathy Gerondale, grandson, D.J. Gerondale, grandson, baby Chad, 3 brothers and a sister.

Services will be held at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 2:00 pm with Deacon Robert Baker officiating.  Interment will follow in the Clinton County Memory Gardens, Wilmington, Ohio where the Wilmington American Legion Post #49 Memorial Squad will conduct full military honors.

Friends will be received at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, OH Thursday, 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm.
