Danny J. Adams passed away suddenly and went to be home with the Lord Sunday, August 4, 2013 at his residence.
He was born of June 22, 1951 in Cincinnati, son of Henry James and Anna Cary Adams. He was a graduate of Blanchester High School Class of 1969. Danny married his high school sweetheart, Connie Duggins, in 1973. Danny retired from Hood Packaging Corp (International Paper) in 2010 after 34 years of service.
Danny will be remembered for his interest in bowling, hot rod cars, fishing, taking care of his pool at home, lawn care and his overall sweet and gentle spirit. He also loved to play guitars and even played in a band during his high school years.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Connie. A daughter Conessa (Creighton) Kirkendall of Maineville. Two grandchildren, Abby and Noah Kirkendall of Maineville. A sister, Carolyn Adams of Lebanon and a brother-in law Randy (Joandrea) Duggins of Westboro, and a mother-in-law Georgianna Duggins. Also, many neices and newphews who he dearly loved. Danny is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Anna Adams and 2 sisters Virginia (Harry) Clark and Betty (Donny) Sellars, and his father-in-law Rex Duggins.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 8 at the FISHER-EDGINGTON FUNERAL HOME, 97 W. Locust St. in Wilmington. Friends and family may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 7. The burial will take place at Clinton County Memory Gardens, located at 1628 Center Road near Wilmington, following the funeral service on Thursday. Anyone wanting to join the family for lunch following burial on Thursday is welcome to join. Lunch will be served at the Wilmington Assembly of God, 609 W. Locust St. in Wilmington. The family would like to thank the many doctors and nurses that have taken care of Danny over the years. He has suffered many years with different illnesses.
