Daniel Ray Kratzer, age 68, of Sardinia, Ohio, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2014 at the Ohio Valley Manor Nursing Home in Ripley, OH.
He was born December 9, 1945 in Cincinnati, OH, son of the late Raymond Earl Kratzer and Mary Olive Foster Kratzer.
Danny was retired from General Electric and the Sardinia Fire Department and Life squad..
He was a member of the Living Springs Community Church in Mowrystown and was a die hard dirt track race fan.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Kratzer of Sardinia, whom he married Jan. 16, 1965, daughter, Karen (Dale) Lewis of Sardinia, two sons, Dennis Kratzer of Sardinia, and Mike (Rachele) Kratzer of Leesburg. Also surviving are two brothers, Bob (Sandy) Kratzer of Leesburg, Steve (Tina) Kratzer of Sardinia, 10 grandchildren, Kris, Matthew, Kelly, Billie, Caitie, Abby, Elizabeth, Lauren, Jarrett, Daniel, and great-grandson Leim.
Services will be held at Living Springs Community Church, Monday, June 2, 2014 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Kraig Walker officiating. Interment will follow in the Buford Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the Living Springs Community Church in Mowrystown 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. on Monday.
