Daniel Anderson

Daniel  C. Anderson,
Age 80, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away Thursday morning, October 25, 2012 at the Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington, Ohio.

He was born May 14, 1932 in Virginia, Minnesota son of Rev. Clarence R. & Viola A. (Swenson) Anderson.  On June 23, 1952 in Wilmington, he married Charlotte Michael-Anderson, who died February 25, 2002.

Daniel retired as a truck driver for International Harvester and had been a taxi driver in Wilmington for many years.  He was a member of the Ada Chapel, the Wilmington VFW Post #6710 and a former member of the Wilmington Eagles #1224
Surviving are his 3 sons- Michael Anderson, Hillsboro, Danny Bruce (Gerri Gray) Anderson, Wilmington, & Paul Edward Anderson, Washington Court House, Ohio; 4 daughters- Lori (Dave) Conger, Wilmington, Joni (Russell) Fair, Wilmington, Mary Lisa (Jon) Whitehead, Wilmington, & Karen Jean (Earl) Johnston, Wilmington; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; a brother- Paul (Joan) Anderson, San Diego, CA; & 3 sisters- Miriam Olsen, Little Falls, MN, Mary Coppersmith, Minneapolis, MN, & Grace Jaeger, Bloomington, MN.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Lcust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington.  Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington, Ohio.  The Wilmington American Legion Post #49 Memorial Squad will accord full military honors.
Friends will be received from 4-7 PM Monday, Oct. 29 at the funeral home.
