Charles W. Burns, age 72 , of Mowrystown, Ohio, passed away Thursday morning, January 22, 2015 at home.
He was born March 7, 1942 in Fincastle, OH, son of the late Walter Clyde Burns and Leona Young Burns . On May 18, 1963 he married Norma C. Burns, who survives.
In addition to his wife, other surviving family members are three children, Jeff (Donna) Burns of Sardinia, OH, Julie Resor of Mowrystown, OH, and Ron (Becky) Burns of Sardinia, OH, eight grandchildren, Derek, Tyler, Curtis, Justin, Bryant, Elizabeth, Jake, and Mikayla, great-grandson, Dylan, three brothers, Robert (Mary Lou) Burns, Richard (Kay) Burns, and Mike (Melinda) Burns, four sisters, Mary Bingamon, Judy (Berny) Fetters, Patty (Rick) Fetters, and Debbie (Chris) Hauke.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by sister, Jane Bloom.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM, Monday, January 26, 2015 at the Edgington Funeral Home, 17 E. Main St. Mowrystown, OH with Rev. Larry Allen officiating. Interment will follow in the Mowrystown Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
Memorial Contributions in Charles memory may be directed to the Hospice of Hope.
