Cecilia Merizalde Scott, age 54, of Wilmington, OH, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2011 at her residence.
She was born April 12, 1957 in Bogota, Columbia, daughter of the late Jose Luiz Merizalde and Polonia Diaz Merizalde.
She was a member of St. Columbkille Catholic Church.
Surviving are husband, Johnny L. Scott of Wilmington, OH, son, Johnny J. (Nickelle) Scott of Wilmington, OH, granddaughter, Paisley Scott, sister, Maria De Pillar, brothers & sisters-in law, Wayne Allen (Gustelia) Scott of Wilmington, Thomas (Sandra) Scott of Pickerington, Maxine (Harry) Gillam of Newark, Imogene (James) Smith of Jeffersonville, and several nieces & nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Columbkille Catholic Church, Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 10:00 am with Rev. Michael Pucke officiating. Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington, OH.
Friends will be received at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, OH Friday,October 7, 2011 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
