Cecil Shaw

Cecil C. Shaw,
Age 84, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away early Wednesday morning, October 24, 2012 at his residence in Wilmington, Ohio.

He was born July 20, 1928 in Xenia, OH, son of John H. & Effie Marie (Stevens) Shaw.   On September 25, 1954 in Xenia, Ohio, he married Ona Dell Amburgy, who survives.

Cecil retired as a Insurance Salesman for Western-Southern Insurance Company.

In addition to his wife, other surviving family members are his 4 children-Vivian (Charles) Skidmore of Wilmington, OH, Jacqueline (Roger) Frommling of Wilmington, OH, Jeff (Shelley) Shaw of Wilmington, OH, & Phillip (Dianna) Shaw of Xenia, OH; 5 grandchildren- Jared (Holly) Dare, Sarah (Duran) Shields, Andrew Patterson, & Jocelyn Shaw-Cubbage  & Kristi Northup; 2 brothers- John (Irene) Shaw, of Xenia & Franklin Shaw of Xenia.

In addition to his parents, Cecil was preceded in death by 7 brothers & sisters.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM, Monday, October 29, 2012 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington with his niece- Ruth Pritchard-Lovejoy officiating.  Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington.

Friends will be received from 6-8 PM, Friday, Oct. 26  at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, OH .
