Catherine A. Parks

 Catherine A. Parks, age 85, of Hillsboro, Ohio, went to her Heavenly home early Thursday morning, February 6, 2025 at the Salyer Adult Group Home in Hillsboro. 

 She was born September 15, 1939 in Beefhide, Kentucky, daughter of the late Jeff and Cora (Wright) Addington. On August 30, 1957 she was united into marriage to Erroll Parks.

 Catherine was a member of Mowrystown Presbyterian Church, where she was active in the Ladies Aide.

 Surviving are loving husband, Erroll Parks; 2 daughters, Melody Parks Potter and Melinda Parks (Glenn) Kirksey; 4 grandchildren, Shawn Kerans, Shai Upton, Zacharia Upton, and Brelynn Upton; 13 great-grandchildren; Damien Kerans, Arienne Kerans, Eddie Bowen Jr., Jason Bowen, Dairred Bowen, Kurtis Bowen, Nevaeh Bowen, Kyler Chaney, Aaliyah Upton, Branson Upton, Brailey Upton, Abel Smith, and Creed Smith; brother, Robert Addington; and several nieces and nephews.

 In addition to her parents, Catherine was preceded in death by two brothers: Dewey and Lowell Addington; 3 sisters: Hazel Laycock, Polly Mae Addington, and Irene Roush; and a son-in-law, John Potter.

 Funeral Services will be held at Mowrystown Presbyterian Church, 3 W. Main St. Mowrystown, Monday, February 10, 2025 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Mike Brazelle officiating. Interment will follow in the Hamer Township Cemetery, Hillsboro, Ohio.

 Friends will be received at Edgington Funeral Home, 17 E. Main St. Mowrystown, on Sunday, February 9, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
