Age 74, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away, Thursday morning, January 19, 2012 at the Wilmington Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Wilmington, OH.
She was born December 15, 1937 in Dayton, Ohio, daughter of the late Wilbur & Rosetta Gudorf.
Carolyn worked as a Clerk for various stores in town. She was a member of St. Columbkille Catholic Church, Aux. Member of the Wilmington American Legion Post #49, Aux. Member of the Wilmington FOE #1224 Eagles, bowled in the Monday Night Crazy Ladies Bowling League and had been a scout master for the Sea Explorers.
Surviving are husband, James Frank of Wilmington, OH; 5 daughters- Karen (Frank) Watters, Clarksville, Anglea (Clarence) Baker, Bartlesville, OK, Theresa (Charlie) Shoemaker, Wilmington, Scherie Brush, Peebles, & Tonya Brush, Wilmington; son- Shawn (Mandy) Vanscoy, Wilmington; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; & 2 brothers- Dale (Kitty) Gudorf, Beavercreek & Mike (Susie) Gudorf, Peebles.
In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her nephew- Doug Gudorf
Prayers will be said 10:15 AM, Monday, January 23 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM Monday, January 23 at St. Columbkille Catholic Church, 73 North Mulberry Street, Wilmington, with Fr. James Wedig officiating.
Friends will be received from 2-4 PM Sunday, Jan. 22 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, OH .
