Carol B. Pointer, age 83, of Greenfield, formerly of Mowrystown, died Friday, January 16, 2015 in Greenfield.
She was born March 27, 1931 in Brown County, OH, daughter of the late Truman Martin and Ethel Marie Hauck Martin.
Carol was a member of the Mowrystown Church of Christ.
Surviving are two sons, Dannie Pointer, Wendell Lee (Nancy) Pointer, Jr., four grandchildren, Tonya (Steve) Browder, Tracy (Mindy) Pointer, Jeff McNamee, Shawn Pointer, nine great grandchildren, Dylan, Haley, Bryce, Hillary, Landon, Caleb, and Marissa, one great great granddaughter, Emma and a sister, Mary Lou (Fred) Adams and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Pointer, 3 sisters, Essie Eyre, Delphia Wilson, Aphia Martin, and 1 brother, Louis Martin.
Services will be held at the Edgington Funeral Home, Mowrystown, at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 20, 2015 with Pastor Chris Gobin officiating. Interment will follow in the Mowrystown Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday, 5:00 - 7:00 p.m..
